70% 的下载量来自中国大陆，美国的 7% 应该包括一些实际在中国大陆但是拥有美国区帐户的用户。

下载量这两天已经开始下降，不过根据以往的经验，这个或许会再次彪高的。

评价和排名也比我预期的好太多。

在 Mac App Store 的中国区的排名，Music 分类里是第一名，总榜第三名。

数据是最有说服力的，由此可见中国大陆的 App 市场十分庞大，更何况还有很大的潜在用户群，这也是为什么 Apple 现在这么注重开发中国大陆的市场了（譬如开拓更多的 Apple Store，并且在 iOS 和 OS X 里为中国用户提供本地化的邮件/微博的服务）。

中国的 Mac 用户群和豆瓣电台的用户群应该都是非常大的，dRadio 的用户明显只是这两者的交集中的很小的一部分。很多已经有 iOS 设备的用户（但是没有 Mac），都是潜在的用户。

优秀的技术没有好的设计，它什么都不是。而优秀的产品（优秀的技术以及优秀的设计的融合）需要的是用户的认可，不然它也什么都不是。（即使萝卜白菜各有所爱，谁也做不出让所有用户都能满意的产品。）

（对于我曾经幼稚的关于大陆用户的一些偏见，确实是时候该重新思考一下了。）

作为一个中国人，其实还是更了解自己的国家的用户。换个角度看问题，或许问题也就不是问题了。

As OS X Lion has already been publicly released, it should be fine for me to talk about one of those important technologies that OS X Lion employed, the Sandbox.

Despite I am a Mac & iOS Developer, I am also a user who uses Apple’s products everyday and who does care about the experience when using those products such as performance, ease-to-use, security and etc. Lion’s Sandbox stands for the security for end-users. Softwares that run in OS X are divided into two types, free and paid. Most of those free softwares are open-sourced software. With a strong open source community, it is somehow easy to guarantee that the software does not contain any malicious codes. Mac App Store is the future how users get software for Mac. According to one of the sessions in WWDC 2011, 21 November 2011 would be the deadline such that softwares would get kicked out from Mac App Store if the Sandbox is not utilised. Malicious softwares are the patent of Windows, it was not and will never be something that annoys Mac users due to the Sandbox technology.

However, as a developer, sandbox is annoying. Definitely, to simply enable sandbox in the Xcode project settings does not make your Apps run smoothly on OS X Lion, and perhaps it will just not get launched. It does require some more efforts.

A huge amount of softwares use Growl to send notifications to users. However, inside sandbox environment, Growl will not work as usual.

If you attempt to do so, you will get something similar to the following figure in your Xcode’s console.

However, there are something interesting in “Code Signing And Application Sandbox Guide” in “Mac OS X 10.7 Core Library”.

We can adding some temporary exceptions in our Mac App’s sandbox entitlement file so that OS X will give Growl some exceptions to send notifications.

• A string value “com.Growl.GrowlHelperApp” for the key “com.apple.security.temporary-exception.apple-events”
• A string value “GrowlApplicationBridgePathway” for the key “com.apple.security.temporary-exception.mach-lookup.global-name”

Eventually, the Growl works as usual inside sandbox environment.

It is also essential to use “container migration” to move all existing application data into the sandbox container.

And, it seems that LSSharedFileList also has some issues when using inside the sandbox container. Lots of developers, including me, have used LSSharedFileList to implement “Start at Login” feature. As Apple does not provide with another pathway to accomplish such, it may require some hacks.

下面当然就是读写速度的比较了～

旧的Seagate Momentus XT 7200rpm 500GB

新的Intel 320 series 160GB SSD

可见Intel SSD的速度比我这个7200rpm且固态混合的硬盘的写入速度快了2倍，读取速度提升到近4倍～而且SSD的速度很稳定啊，可能是因为我开了TRIM了吧。

不过，因为OptiBay放在MacBook Pro的光驱用的SATA线上，速度只有1.5GBps。硬盘用的SATA2有3.0GBps。不过，考虑到我这个7200rpm固态混合本来就比普通硬盘快了不少，所以这个测试还是有参考价值的～

Mac OS X 10.7 Lion的宣传标语是：The Power of Mac OS X. The Magic of iPad.
我习惯性的用双指在TrackPad上做出下滑的动作，然后神奇的事情发生鸟，page竟然scroll up了，我瞬间明白The Magic of iPad的涵义。用了这么久的Mac，已经习惯双指下滑，就是把页面往下翻，可是Lion却把iOS上面的那一套搬过来了，变成上滑了。Steve Jobs在Back to Mac的event上说过，通过多年的研究的调查和研究表明一个vertical的touch screen是不和谐的。那你也不能弄个vertical的screen，然后让我用一个horizontal的track pad在那里意淫啊。

Snow Leopard发布的时候，Apple推出了一些非常强大的新技术，OpenCL和GCD。不过Lion在技术上没什么更新，重心都集中在了User Interface和User Experience上了。Lion也真正的跨入的64位的时代了。Snow Leopard可能就是一个64位系统的过渡吧，默认内核是i386，可以改为x86_64内核启动。但是Lion已经默认启用x86_64内核了。

Lion以后也不会有特定的Server版本了，因为Server组件已经是Lion安装过程中的可选项了。我们可以用Lion自带的Server组件，创建Wiki，管理iOS设备。

（顺便鄙视一下啤酒盖子，现在是baloney鲍秃头的小破微软的小破windows，搞那么多乱七八糟的版本，你们想让用户疯掉么。。。Mac OS X以前就一个普通版本和服务器版本，现在苹果把这两个版本都合起来了，适合所有用户，多简洁明了～）

系统偏好设置，增加了网络帐户管理(Internet Accounts)。更加方便管理iCal，Mail，AddressBook和iChat的帐户。

LaunchPad里，像iOS一样的文件夹管理功能，方便管理和组织软件。

传说中的MissionControl，Expozé和Spaces以及Dashboard的混合体～灰常强大～

总结几点：

很多软件右上角都有切换成全屏模式的按钮。然后可以通过Mission Control在众多软件之间切换。

自动保存功能，源自iOS～不需要保存。关闭后再次打开，可以恢复以前的状态。

Lion支持应用软件SandBox，也是源自iOS。。。提升系统安全性能。

还有对中文输入法的改进，这个很好。Snow Leopard那个中文拼音难用＋难看到死啊啊啊。。。

Lion支持更加安全的Disk Encryption以及Fire Vault。

技术上，可能就是大大的提高系统的安全性能吧，其他也没什么新技术。都是把iOS上的东西往Mac OS X上搬。

不过新的UI确实很吸引人，我都不想换回Snow Leopard了。

但是双指在TrackPad上做下滑动作，然后页面却上翻，这一点实在是。。。需要一点时间去习惯～

星期一，连着上5个小时，还是在不同venue。我不吃不喝，还得飞毛腿。
星期四，早上8点开始，晚上6点结束，虽然中间有空挡，但还是。。。

看着窗外的咖啡色的UTS大楼，感觉还是UTS好，至少上个课不用满学校跑，做个电梯就好了。悉尼大学真是大的蛋疼。
